Beginners are always welcome, there is something for everyone.
Please note: Under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent, certain restrictions apply.
Unless specified some workshops may not be held every day.
You do not need to sign-up for most workshops, although some
workshops may only be able to handle a limited number of students at one time.

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FREE AND NO COST FOR INSTRUCTION
THERE IS A COST FOR BLANKS AND SUPPLIES

Unless otherwise arranged, only workshop leaders and approved vendors
are permitted sales of any kind at the Roundup. Raffles and solisitations are not permitted.

                                                        BEGINNER PINS AND MAGNETS: Dick McDonald will offer this class for those just starting out.
                                                        WOOD BURNING: David Pataky will be wood burning wildlife on leather, wood, etc. Bring your own wood burner.
                                                         KALIEDOSCOPES, PENS, CHAIN PULLS:Steve Brown. Check out HIS WEBSITE. Steve is from Kentucky.
                                                        NOAH'S ARK ANIMALS: John Baranywill help you carve your own Noah's Ark patterns.
                                                         CHRIS WHILLOCK:  Editor of  "CARVING MAGAZINE" will have projects for all levels including beginners.
                                                        CHIP CARVING: Dave DeGraff  for beginner to experienced.

We are sorry to report that two of our Roundup workshop leaders have passed away. They will be missed by all.
Ron Morin -  Always in the vendor building with his fancy spiral icicles and unique sharpening equipment.
Pat O'Dea -  Always in the Rabbit Barn Pavilion teaching beginner power carving and also sold carving supplies.
Thank you to both of these fine carvers for all their time and talent they shared with others at the Roundup.
However, Pat's friend Mary Weinheimer will be handling the power carving workshop in his place.

TRADE BLANKET (was swap meet)
Bring something carving related you no longer use as an item you
can trade for something someone else has.  Cash is also accepted.      This is really fun!!!
Items for trade can be tools, wood, books, patterns, blanks or roughouts, wood burnings, magazines etc.
